Se trata de una jornada establecida por la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional de C\u00e1ncer Infantil, apoyada por la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud y otros organismos. En 2012, el Congreso Nacional instaur\u00f3 esta fecha tambi\u00e9n en Argentina.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\" wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">Estad\u00edsticas y abordaje<\/h3>\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Actualmente, se registran en la provincia alrededor de 100 nuevos casos de c\u00e1ncer en ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os y adolescentes por a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Entre ellos, los diagn\u00f3sticos m\u00e1s frecuentes son las leucemias agudas, seguido de linfomas y tumores del sistema nervioso central. Es importante subrayar que el c\u00e1ncer infantil tiene tratamiento y elevadas chances de curaci\u00f3n: llega a alrededor del 70 por ciento en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Desde 2022, en la provincia de C\u00f3rdoba funciona la Red provincial de Oncopediatr\u00eda, que brinda prestaciones sanitarias, asesoramiento y acompa\u00f1amiento a las familias.
