He querido despedirlo, pero odio ser pol\u00e9mico. Quiero ser discreto\u201d, agreg\u00f3, seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 Xinhua y supo la Agencia Noticias Argentinas.<\/p>\n<p>El mandato de Powell como presidente de la Reserva Federal termina el 15 de mayo, y le quedan dos a\u00f1os como gobernador. Trump nomin\u00f3 al exgobernador de la Reserva Federal, Kevin Warsh, como su sucesor.<\/p>\n<p>En una entrevista con periodistas en marzo, Powell dijo que seguir\u00e1 al frente de la Reserva Federal si Warsh no es confirmado antes de que finalice su mandato.<\/p>\n<p>Powell tambi\u00e9n dijo que no dejar\u00e1 su puesto en la junta de gobernadores hasta que concluya la investigaci\u00f3n del Departamento de Justicia en su contra. Los fiscales federales inciaron una investigaci\u00f3n contra Powell por el proyecto multimillonario del banco central para renovar su sede en enero.<\/p>\n<p>La fiscal federal del Distrito de Columbia, Jeanine Pirro, intent\u00f3 citar a Powell para obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre el proyecto, pero un juez rechaz\u00f3 la solicitud.
