Buenos Aires, 14 abril (NA) \u2014 El presidente de Brasil, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, advirti\u00f3 que Cuba enfrenta la \u201csituaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s cr\u00edtica de toda su historia\u201d y urgi\u00f3 la necesidad de un plan de recuperaci\u00f3n a mediano y largo plazo, aunque subray\u00f3 que solo los cubanos pueden definir su propio camino.<\/p>\n

En entrevista con el portal Brasil 247, transmitida hoy martes, el mandatario destac\u00f3 los profundos v\u00ednculos hist\u00f3ricos y emocionales que lo unen a la isla, al recordar que pertenece a una generaci\u00f3n que creci\u00f3 admirando la revoluci\u00f3n encabezada por Fidel Castro.<\/p>\n

Lula da Silva describi\u00f3 un panorama cr\u00edtico marcado por la escasez generalizada: alimentos, energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica, combustibles e insumos m\u00e9dicos, y demostr\u00f3 que la crisis actual es la m\u00e1s prolongada y compleja desde el triunfo de la revoluci\u00f3n, en 1959.<\/p>\n

Aunque reconoci\u00f3 el env\u00edo de ayuda internacional, incluida la de Brasil, as\u00ed como la de China y Rusia, Lula da Silva advirti\u00f3 que estas acciones son insuficientes frente a la magnitud del desaf\u00edo.<\/p>\n

\u201cNadie puede \u2018adoptar\u2019 a un pa\u00eds. Lo que se necesita, en realidad, es un plan de recuperaci\u00f3n de medio y largo plazo, pero eso solo los cubanos pueden hacerlo\u201d, afirm\u00f3 seg\u00fan se inform\u00f3 Xinhua y supo la Agencia Noticias Argentinas.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, Lula da Silva apunt\u00f3 al impacto del bloqueo estadounidense y de recientes medidas para restringir el suministro de combustible, como factores que han profundizado la crisis, en un contexto donde la falta de liquidez limita severamente la actividad comercial.<\/p>\n
