{"id":17209,"date":"2026-03-30T16:05:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T19:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmgente.com.ar\/web\/que-es-atenea-el-microsatelite-argentino-que-viajara-en-la-mision-artemis-ii\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T16:05:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T19:05:00","slug":"que-es-atenea-el-microsatelite-argentino-que-viajara-en-la-mision-artemis-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmgente.com.ar\/web\/que-es-atenea-el-microsatelite-argentino-que-viajara-en-la-mision-artemis-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"Qu\u00e9 es ATENEA, el microsat\u00e9lite argentino que viajar\u00e1 en la misi\u00f3n Artemis II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Buenos Aires, 30 marzo (NA) \u2014 Argentina ser\u00e1 protagonista esta semana de una de las misiones espaciales m\u00e1s importantes de la actualidad con la participaci\u00f3n del microsat\u00e9lite ATENEA en Artemis II, el hist\u00f3rico vuelo tripulado al entorno lunar impulsado por la NASA.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan pudo saber la Agencia Noticias Argentinas, ATENEA es un microsat\u00e9lite desarrollado por la CONAE en conjunto con instituciones del sistema cient\u00edfico nacional, que fue seleccionado como carga secundaria de la misi\u00f3n, convirtiendo al pa\u00eds en el \u00fanico representante de Am\u00e9rica Latina y uno de los cuatro elegidos a nivel global junto con Alemania, Arabia Saudita y Corea del Sur.<\/p>\n<p>El sat\u00e9lite, de tipo CubeSat 12U y dimensiones reducidas (30x20x20 cent\u00edmetros), tendr\u00e1 como principal desaf\u00edo operar a unos 70.000 kil\u00f3metros de la Tierra, lo que lo posicionar\u00e1 como el microsat\u00e9lite argentino que alcanzar\u00e1 mayor distancia hasta la fecha. Entre sus objetivos se destacan medir radiaci\u00f3n en el espacio profundo, evaluar el comportamiento de componentes electr\u00f3nicos en condiciones extremas, analizar se\u00f1ales GNSS m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de sus \u00f3rbitas habituales y validar comunicaciones de largo alcance.<\/p>\n<p>Tras su despliegue, ATENEA iniciar\u00e1 una secuencia aut\u00f3noma de activaci\u00f3n, estabilizaci\u00f3n y transmisi\u00f3n de datos hacia estaciones terrenas ubicadas en Tierra del Fuego y C\u00f3rdoba. Este proceso permitir\u00e1 poner a prueba capacidades t\u00e9cnicas clave, como el seguimiento y la gesti\u00f3n remota en un entorno de alta complejidad, abriendo la puerta a futuras misiones m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la \u00f3rbita terrestre baja.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto representa adem\u00e1s un ejemplo de desarrollo federal y cooperaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, con participaci\u00f3n de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, la Universidad Nacional de San Mart\u00edn, la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la UBA, el Instituto Argentino de Radioastronom\u00eda, la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Energ\u00eda At\u00f3mica y la empresa VENG.
